I completed a City and Guilds Holistic Body Therapies Diploma with Distinction in 2005.  The course consisted of both practical and theory examinations in Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Swedish massage, Indian Head massage, Anatomy and Physiology and Diet and Nutrition.  I have also completed a course for Hopi Ear Candles in May 2005 at Northampton College.  I have been practising now for 2 years, I thoroughly enjoy the work that I do and in the treatments that I offer. I always endeavour to make it a deeply relaxing, beneficial and a true a holistic experience.

Aromatherapy - Tina Reidy - CERT ED. MIFPA MCOH CIMI

I trained and qualified in 1995 with the Purple Flame School of Aromatherapy. At present I am Treasurer of our local group of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists.  My interest in Hydrotherm treatment and the use of Hot Stones came from clients who gained relief from painful conditions by the use of applied heat. I am also in trained in Infant Massage and the use of Hopi Ear Candles.

In 1992 -1994 I was trained as a Healer at the College of Healing and am a fully qualified Member. I am also a Member of The Healers International Network and hold Healing and Meditation groups weekly from my home in Blisworth.

Since 2000 I have taken time out to travel and have visited the Holy Land, Canada and Alaska, India and sailed a Tall Ship from Newcastle on Tyne to Norway. I have trekked the Great Wall of China and also the Inca Trail in Peru for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and am pleased to say I have raised over £10,500 for them.

Chiropody / Podiatry - Leisa James – BA (Hons) BSc (Hons) Pod MChS SRCh

I qualified from University College Northampton’s School of Podiatry in June 2000 after completing a three year full time Bachelor of Science Degree in Podiatry.

Following graduation I practised in the NHS for nearly four years treating ‘at risk’ and routine patients. During this period I gained considerable experience in treating the diabetic foot, biomechanics and paediatrics.

I moved into private practice in 2003 and offer a full range of treatments, including nail surgery, verrucae treatments biomechanics, insole therapy and a home visiting service.

By maintaining a commitment to ongoing professional development my skills are always kept up to date. I am also a member of the Health Professional Council.

We have recently introduced a new treatment called the Cryopen for those painful, unsightly warts and verrucas. The Cryopen (freezing technique) is the most advanced device available, requiring no anaesthetic, can be used on both children and adults. Chiropody / Podiatry - Cheryl Scott - BSc (Hons) Pod MChS SRCh

I qualified with a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine from Northampton School of Podiatry in 1991.  With further study I obtained my degree (BSc) and then went on to complete a Sports Podiatry course at Manchester Metropolitan University.

During this further study I was in full time NHS employment in Cheltenham for 6 six years, and returned to the profession as a locum Podiatrist following 18 months travelling.

I then spent 2 years at home whilst having my children and have since returned to Podiatry as a Private Practitioner.  I am also a member of the Health Professional Council.

McTimoney Chiropractic - Robert Millar – BSc (Hons) Chiro MMCA

I studied at the McTimoney Chiropractic College in Abingdon, Oxfordshire gaining a 2:1 Honours Degree in human Chiropractic. Having spent a year working in the student teaching clinic at the college, I started my own practice at three clinics in Northamptonshire. I originally decided to train as a Chiropractor after experiencing the benefits first-hand, from having on-going back problems from my first degree studies at Newcastle University. Having a young family I believe that paediatric care is very important, so I aim to provide a level of Chiropractic care suitable for all the family.

Her - Therapy For Health - Lynda Allen – ITEC Dip, NFLM Dip

I qualified as a Holistic Massage Therapist with Middlesex School of Complementary Medicine at Mount Vernon Hospital. Since qualifying I have taken further training in advance massage techniques for Trigger Point and Deep Tissue techniques.

I describe myself as a clinical massage therapist and body worker. My massage therapy involves soft tissue manipulation as well as relaxation methods to de-stress the body and mind. In 2008 I shall further my training in specialising in Maternity Massage for women pre and post birth.

In addition I have a diploma in Natural Face Lift Massage and Rejuvenation from the London Centre for Indian Champissage International under Narendra and Kundan Mehta. They are experienced teachers credited for bringing Indian Head massage to the UK over 25 years ago.

I have recently returned to the UK, from the Republic of Ireland where I set up my company in order to be closer to my family.

Reiki & Hypnotherapy - Lorraine & Brian Morris BSCH (affiliated)

Brian and I are both Reiki Master Practitioners with over five years experience and are members of the Reiki Hats governing body.

Crystal Healing - Sandie Osborne

I am a certified Crystal Therapy Practitioner. I trained at the Crystal Dimensions Energy School where I completed a course of instruction in the theory, practice and application of the vibration healing properties of crystals. The instruction included an in depth study of subtle anatomy and completion of case studies.

I have been practising Crystal Therapy for approximately two years. I am based at Abbey House Complementary Therapy Clinic and also participate at events, craft fairs, and arrange crystal healing parties.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge about crystals to others so that they can benefit from their healing properties on all levels.

Acupuncture / Traditional Chinese Medicine - Dr Lang Cai - M.B, M.A, ATCM

I am a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine specialising in Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine with about 24-years of clinical experience.

I was trained at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 1978 to 1983 with a Bachelors degree in Medicine (M.B.). After my graduation, I worked at the Acupuncture Department in the university hospital in Beijing for 14 years before I came to the UK in 1997.

In 1999, I completed my postgraduate study at University of Brighton with a degree in MA Health Studies. Since then, I have been practising in UK clinics. I have also worked in hospitals in Germany for 3 years (1993-1995) & (2006-2007).

I have gained extensive experience in treating various diseases and illnesses, especially those with chronic conditions. Over the years, I have successfully helped a lot of people in improving their health. I am a full member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM) (UK).

Initial consultation with an acupuncture session (approx. 75mins.) is £60.00 and a follow-up acupuncture session (approx. 45mins) is £35. The price for herbal treatment is variable.
